Looking for a countryside stay in Suffolk? At The Red Lion we have five bedrooms, each unique and in keeping with the character of our pub. Four of the bedrooms are located in the main building and one is situated behind the pub. It's a home away from home stay and the perfect base for exploring Constable Country.
Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, storage area, a tea and coffee station and guest WIFI. Bathroom products include hand and body wash, lotion, shampoo and conditioner from Connock England. The Verdant fragrance collection was created for our guests and inspired by the countryside in our region.

Luxury
Our luxury bedroom is ideal if you’re looking for extra space or bringing the family along for a holiday exploring the Suffolk landscape. This spacious suite features historic beams, open brick work, fireplaces and original features whilst being fitted with modern amenities and styled furnishings for a comfortable stay.
Our luxury bedroom includes, in addition to the main bedroom with a Super King bed, a cosy sitting room with two single sofa beds, providing ample space for everyone. The bathroom has a rainfall walk-in shower and complementary Connock products.
Extra Large King
Our extra large king bedroom is located on the first floor of the main building. This room has a generous amount of space for a couple’s getaway. With views across the village and beamed ceilings, this airy room ensures a comfortable stay.
This bedroom features a king sized bed with an ensuite with double sinks, a roll top bathtub, a walk-in shower and Connock products.
Large King
Our large king bedroom is set apart from the main building. Home to a spacious king-sized bed, this royal blue and open brick styled room accentuates its historic features with a modern twist. With a barn-style door and rustic beams, it is the ideal space for a mini break in Suffolk.
This bedroom features a seated area and an ensuite with a walk-in shower and complementary Connock products.
Medium King
Our medium king bedroom is located on the top floor and has a large double bed, ideal for a stay with us after exploring Constable Country in Suffolk. Featuring sloped ceilings and storage in nooks, this cosy loft room has a seated area, fireplaces and rustic exposed brick.
The bathroom is has a spacious modern roll top bathtub with a hand-held shower and Connock Products.
Small King
Our small king bedroom offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. A king sized bed, light and airy furnishings and views across the village.
The large ensuite has beamed ceilings that add character, with a large walk-in shower and complementary Connock products.
Connock England
In our bedrooms and communal spaces, we have worked closely with our fragrance partner, Connock England, to create a scent that evokes a sense of place.
The Verdant fragrance collection was created for our guests and inspired by the countryside in our region. It is a fresh, green fragrance crafted from vibrant blend of essential oils that capture the essence of the place we call home.
Verdant has notes of blackcurrant, English rose and fig that are layered with uplifting citrus, eucalyptus and peppermint, with grounding undertones of sandalwood and amber adding warmth and depth.
